Events raising awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women begin Nov. 1

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Forsythe Family Program on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs is hosting a week of human rights activities to raise awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women.

Sarah Deer, a leading researcher and advocate on the issue of violence against Native women from the University of Kansas, will open the series of events on Nov. 1 by delivering remarks and answer questions.
