We are excited to recognize Timothy Turnquist, a PhD candidate in the Department of History, as the recipient of the Mary McClymont Award.
Timothy’s research focuses on Holocaust studies, (im)migration from Nazi Germany, antisemitism, and Christian-Jewish relations. His dissertation, which he will defend in Spring 2025, examines the Nazi persecution of so-called “non-Aryan” Catholic refugees with Jewish ancestry, in addition to U.S. Catholic responses to the Catholic refugee crisis.
